Go play it...please. I worked on the art assets, helped with some sprites, and served as a (Mac) playtester. This mod has been in the work for 2 years. The team put a lot of effort into it, so it doubles as a representation of the years of dedication and sort of a "book end" for literally everyone on the team.

PLAY THE MOD.

Hello, good morning! It's December! The final month of the year, as we dread the cold, have our final monthly mental breakdowns, and enjoy our time with family. I decided to make another blog post since my last one was in October. This will (probably) be shorter than the previous blog, and this is because I'm not talking about some of the mental struggles I've gone through. I like to keep things a little fun on this side of the internet, so I will not be talking about it. I ended up deleting my Twitter, as I said I would. However, because I lost all my art files a few months ago, a lot of doodles that were on that account are now lost to time.

Anyway...

Drawing Tablet!

If you missed it, I was the 2nd lucky person to receive an XP-Pen tablet from the giveaway! Again, thank you to Tom Fulp and the rest of the Newgrounds community for making this possible! The tablet is quite huge to the point that it covers my lap (as I do not have a desk). It came with a drawing glove, a set of nibs, some ports, a cable, and a nice little pen stand! I want to keep the box in pristine condition since it was a gift, just like my original tablet!

Blurry image, but I hope this shows how big it is, LOL. I received my Wacom Intuos Art tablet from a STEM program I attended years ago and used it ever since then. I actually had to replace the cable multiple times during its lifespan, but it was always a reliable tablet. I'm going to hand the Wacom down to my sibling so they can create art too!

Movies!

As I said in my previous blog, I've been using my time to watch and consume a lot of media while experiencing this downtime. I stopped watching One Piece a few days after that blog because I needed a break at the time, and I just...never went back. I know the manga is recommended, but I haven't finished Sakamoto Days (a REALLY good manga) so I don't want to start something else. Adding on to this, I stopped reading Warriors months ago, so I'm still on the AVoS arc.

So what have I been watching lately?

Fullmetal Alchemist (+ Brotherhood)

I LOVE this anime. I ended up binging the original show, and now I'm currently watching Brotherhood. I heard a lot of people prefer the original show to Brotherhood, which is understandable. Brotherhood is more...comedic, but I don't think that makes it a bad thing. The only problem I have with FMA:B so far is that FMA did an excellent job of making you care for the characters; we got to see Ed and Al create bonds, just as we got to see their hearts break multiple times. I have not seen the '03 movies yet either, but I'm saving them for when I finish Brotherhood.

The Breakfast Club

TBC feels like one of those movies that you HAVE to see before you die, whether you're a casual movie enjoyer or a fanatic. When I was younger, I did not care for live-action movies because I always found animation better to look at; taking a film class this semester has changed that perspective. This movie is very sweet (loosely using that term) and heart-wrenching. It's really interesting to see how parenting can affect teens mentally, whether it's intentional or not. I love John, he's my favorite of the bunch and he always had my attention when I watched this film. His earrings, multi-layered clothing, biker gloves, and clunky (and sometimes mismatched) shoes caught my eye.

TLDR: I love John Bender.

Grease

I can't talk about this movie without talking about why I decided to watch it. I am not a fan of musicals, but this is another one of those films that people say you have to watch at least once. To be honest, I only watched this because of John Travolta, but I did stay to see how it would turn out. I found it to be really cute that Sandy ended up as this punk-like gal, while Danny becomes this softer, yet mature version at the finale. I wouldn't watch this again though...

Back To The Future

Another classic film. This was a nice one to sit back and turn my brain off to. That's all I can really say about it.

American Psycho

This was an interesting film for me to watch; I already knew the story and plot points, but never actually sat down to watch it. I'm not sure what to say about this one; this film leaves you wondering whether the events happened or not. Of course that does not mean it's bad if anything, I think it's a nice experience. I did laugh a bit at certain scenes because of the memes, but otherwise, it was smooth sailing. I didn't like the sex scenes though, it always feels a little awkward to me, lol. (This is not limited to AP)

Oddly, my favorite character is Paul Allen. He never shows up again after his death (though he is a recurring plot point), but he just...left an impression on me.

The Nice Guys

After watching Barbie, I've been a little infatuated with Ryan Gosling, so I watched to check out his filmography. I watched Blade Runner with a friend, but it was such a long film that I lost interest halfway through. I actually cannot recall much if you were to ask me.

That was a few months ago.

This time, I decided to check some other films and watch them; case in point: The Nice Guys.

I really liked this film while watching it! I never really watched comedy or buddy cop films (except for Rush Hour), so this was a fun break between rewatching Pulp Fiction and watching American Psycho for the first time. Also, the character Ryan plays is named "March". I just found it funny because my birthday is in March, LOL.

Lars and The Real Girl

The last film I watched recently, as of writing this blog. It's another Ryan Gosling film!

This time Ryan plays "Lars", a man who has traits of being shy and awkward around people. He has a difficult time connecting and because of this, it leaves him feeling isolated, to put it lightly. There's a better explanation than the one I just gave, but that's because I feel like you should watch this for yourself. Yes, the premise of the sex doll is a bit funny but as the plot progresses, it ends up feeling...depressing? Sad?

I teared up multiple times and actually cried at the ending. Good film.

I think that wraps it up for this blog! As I'm writing this, I'm getting film recommendations from friends since I would like to watch more over the break. I have my finals to work on, so I SHOULD be studying but...here I am.

Hello, it has been a while; I think it's been a few months since I last posted actually. I hope this blog finds you in good spirits, and if not, I hope the day/night will get better. I wrote this blog post to sort out my thoughts and conflicting ambitions I had over the months. It's actually very difficult to sort my words and thoughts out while typing this, so some information may not sound well thought out. If it isn't clear, it's very obvious that I haven't been posting any content, nor have I been posting status updates. I would apologize but my life isn't very interesting to talk about. As for art, I do have something to say regarding that, so hopefully the next paragraph will come out clear.

The Nitty Gritty

For the past few months, I haven't felt the urge to draw, sketch, or color anything. I still drew something from time to time, but not out of my own violation. I would sketch something and then post it because I'm an artist, and that's my job. It's been like that for a while now; it's a very empty process. As of late, I've been having thoughts regarding my talent and my presence. To sum it up, I want to erase myself online; and remove my presence. I no longer have something to be proud of, in a sense. My art is fine, however, I feel like I failed some unseen quota for being an artist online. Even now, as I write this, I would like to archive all of my art. If Newgrounds has some sort of system where I can hide all my art for now, I would love to know.

Adding on to this, I haven't been interacting a lot with people online either. It's not to worrying degrees, but rather just periodic moments of using a simple reply or barely holding a conversation. I want to think that I am simply getting bored, but it might be something else that I have yet to figure out yet. (I have yet to do my annual cleaning of my friend list too...) This also ties into my next point/ potential move, which is deleting my accounts. I think it might be a good move to delete my account because it's reached a point where I feel like I cannot salvage it. I'm barely active on my Twitter (shocker) and my Tumblr, so I feel like I'm carrying weights on me. (I would like to use my Tumblr more, so I should probably clean it out.)

Slight Positivity Arc

To balance out the previous paragraphs, I would like to talk about what I've been confining in my free time. I've been watching a lot of anime to pass the time now. Actually, the last anime series I watched was FLCL, which was a few years back. Anyway, I've always been a fan of Naruto, I just never talked about it because it was more of a dormant/nostalgic interest/series for me. It's been really fun to look back at the content I watched when I was younger and to discover more things from the era of Flash. It's made me really appreciate Flash as a whole, as well as the weird "LOL" humor from that era that has defined me.

I started One Piece a few weeks ago, and I'm happy to say I've completed the Alabasta arc today! One Piece is notorious for being very daunting to watch due to the episode count. I decided to take the risk and watch it, even though I knew I wouldn't be able to complete it for the next few years, lol. I think the pushing point for me to start watching was due to my aunt originally planning to take me to a pop-up dessert bar event that was celebrating the release of the live-action. I couldn't go because I got sick around that time, and had to miss the event. My favorite OP characters are Sanji, Zoro, and Ace! I also started having an odd appreciation for Usopp, and I mostly think it's because of this specific figure and the live-action counterpart.

Aside from anime, I have also started to try my hand at using Blender. I received a mouse from my aunt for one of my classes, but instead, I decided to use it for modeling. I do not have anything to show for this currently, as I'm simply following beginner tutorials, but I hope to eventually create things to share.

I think that's all of the information I really wanted to talk about. Other things have happened too, but I don't think it's really important to discuss. Of course, at some point, I might actually get the motivation needed and start creating art again (I'm waiting for that day), but for now, I would like to put the pen down. I might post some art doodles here and there, but please do not expect it. Anyway, I'm not good at wrapping up my blogs, so I simply wish for you to have a good upcoming week! Happy Halloween!

I don't like doing these because I never had a reason to use them before, so bear with me, please. I just wanted to talk about what I'll be posting in the future, and whatnot from today onwards.

Sketches/Doodles

I don't like posting sketches here because I feel like it clogs up a lot of notifications, so I always try to post complete art. Actually, I need to clean out my account to remove any sketches I might have posted; had this been any other platform, I wouldn't have cared but I want my NG to be clean. As for doodles, I'll post those, but just sparingly; I just don't want to overflow my gallery.

Friday Night Funkin

I just saw you shiver in your boots, and I 100% understand; the modding scene is quite literally the worst thing since lockdown, but please listen to what I have to say. As someone who always had been in the community since...2021-ish, I always wanted to mod the game. Recently, I've actually been learning to make my own sprites and it's been such a progressive journey for me (I always struggled with it to the point where my self-esteem for it was horrendous).

I plan to start uploading GIFs of the sprites I make here as well, so if that's not up your alley, you have been warned ahead of time. (Which also crosses over to the next topic...)

Sonic.exe

You just shivered again from cringe and it's 100% fine. I was like that too actually, I only changed a few months ago. So, if it isn't obvious, I got back into it again so I'm going to be posting content about that as well. If you don't like it, that's 100% fine, but don't get on my back about it.

That's all I have to say in regard to content. This was meant to be a small update post anyway, haha. As always, thank you for supporting my account and I hope you enjoy future content as well.
