Favorite one out of the bunch; I had to leave a comment! I really love how it's a different angle instead of the usual 3/4 view, it really gives off a different vibe. Since this is the first card to show a civilian actually managing to get a lethal shot at the dinosaur, framing the illustration through the hole is really clever! Of course, I also love the art style too!

namosaurus responds:

Thank you so much for the love! I wanted to make something that feel like the original in the sense of traumatic and violence, and dark humor joke ,idk, and also new in a way of how I present it, I has gone through like 2-3 drafts before I have and Idea of telling a little further story from the original design, and I ended up with this idea.

Such a gorgeous color palette! I love the feeling of this piece as well; it really invokes a sense of still calmness from walking home. I love the textures on the trees as well!

itsdanfango responds:

ay thanks dawg youre epic

Do you still...have the one Sonic Heroes parody image because that's such an important piece of art to me...

revie03 responds:

yes, i’ll reupload it later

Oh, that's interesting to know; there was probably a lot of development process behind making the voice too. I always find it interesting to learn about that stuff, I think it gives neat insight for "becoming" the character, if that makes sense. Do you have a favorite one among the 7? (Or, assuming that Zetsu MIGHT be your favorite, do you have a favorite behind him?)

revie03 responds:

it is genuinely impossible to pick a favorite when all of them are so dynamic and well designed, but I’ll just say Kito because of the voicework Zave does that makes it so booming and strong. But let it be known the others are just as iconic and well voiced.

Also, Zetsubo is a vocal chord killer, but my chords are already dead so I’m good at it, and actually yes, Zetsubo was the one I was most fascinated with and me getting the role was a complete surprise.

It's really funny, I dug up my old Sonic comics recently, which happened to have the Chaotix issue in them! Everyone did a really good job replicating the cover while adding their own flair to it

fish-flop responds:

Thank you!
A lot of people goon on those old Archie comics, but there's a real charm to a lot of those early issues, especially the big event ones.

I love the usage of saturated colors for the objects in the foreground and the less saturated ones for the backdrop! The line art is crisp, and I love the gradient lines that separate things! It's a very pleasing piece to the eyes! My favorite part of this picture is definitely the TV with the vaporwave grid, the arcade system, and the sunset-colored slinky.

Damare-Draws responds:

thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoy it!

The colors on this are really pleasing to look at, and using a limited color palette allows for some interesting solutions! I really love the gradation on the strings.

geoWaffle responds:

thank you so much!!!! the reason i used a limited palette was because i thought the green shading would look COOL AND MYSTERIOUS and like here we are right

The colors on this piece are fantastic! It's such a bold shade of blue but just toned down enough to make you feel a cool presence. The touches of purple really compliment it as well! It gives a nice pop to the overall scheme. I do not know this game, but the designs are super cute and cool!

chocoholicmonkey responds:

Thank you so much!!

Oh wow! This is simply fantastic to look at! It reminds me of those moments where I used to get in the car, and sometimes I would be out for so long, that the buildings would have an ethereal glow! You did an outstanding job with this!

Kamikaye responds:

Thx a lot ! I tried to go for that and Im glad it worked for you ! :)

I really love what you did with this piece! The soft shading really compliments the eye candy that is the colors! The simple, yet relaxed pose of the character truly conveys the tone of the drawing as well! Excellent job!

Orlek-sketch responds:

Thank you very much!
